My name is Amber and my love of baking started when I was a little girl.  As I got older I found other things that occupied my time and I kind of forgot about baking.  It wasn't until my husband and I moved into our nearly 100-year-old home five years ago that my love of baking was rekindled.

As I suddenly found myself surrounded daily by history, I was transported to the days when quality mattered and people enjoyed each other's company.  I felt very connected to my great-grandmother, whom I met when I was a young girl.  I remembered her apartment smelling (and looking) like a bakery.  I realized, with a lot of pride, that I was the one who inherited the baking gene. 

 

The rest, as they say, is history.  I started with cupcakes and branched out to other baked goods as my experience developed.  Before I knew it, I was being asked to make treats for birthdays, parties, and family events.  I became the "go-to" girl for treats!  There are few things that make me happier than the look on someone's face when they sink their teeth into a high-quality sweet and realize they can enjoy it completely, without worrying about what is in it, where it came from, or how long ago it was made.  I want to transport people back to the "good ol' days".  I want to get them to slow down and enjoy something beautiful.  Pure, simple, well-made products are my happy place.  I hope after trying my treats, that they become your happy place too.
